After releasing my latest Austin Art Talk interview with artist Joyce Howell this week I decided to revisit a series of images I made of her working in her previous studio 8 years ago. She was very gracious to let me be a fly on the wall while she worked, considering no one else has ever been allowed to watch her while she paints! And what a beautiful studio with everything you would expect. It was a great experience driving up to Kingsland northwest of Austin and spending part of the day with her.
